Mangroves are a type of bushy plant that grow on the edges of areas where the ocean meets inland waters and form a nursery for marine life. Often times tunnels are formed through the mangroves. These tunnels offer a unique look at plants, birds, and sea life.
On this tour you will see starfish and crabs. You will watch a variety of fish swimming past sponges. If you like, you will be able to reach down and pick up an "Upside Down" Jellyfish. Out in the bay you will scout out manatees and maybe see a dolphin or two hunting for their lunch.
These tours are located in the Tampa Bay area, Sarasota and Thousand Islands near Cocoa Beach.
