Smart Start
This orientation is one hour in duration. The student will gain basic skills in paddling and safety. There is a two student minimum for this class.
Cost for the class is $40 plus tax/student including kayak rental. read more
Quick Start
This class takes 2-3 hours to complete. The student will gain in basic paddling skills. Additionally, obstacles and simple rescues will be addressed. These skill sets will be practiced with the supervision of the instructor to ensure the student will maneuver safely and comfortably on the water. There is a two student minimum for this class.

Introduction to Kayaking
This is a six hour class focusing on the skills to successful paddle any type of kayak. Students will learn about potential hazards and paddle safety. The measures necessary for planning a successful kayak trip are also covered in the class. The emphasis on safety and skills are coupled with skill practice with the instructor ensuring comfort and confidence on the water when the student completes the course.
